Canadian actress, Amanda Wong was born and raised in beautiful British Columbia. She speaks multiple languages, is a provincial gold medaling athlete, a pre-paramedic, a Guinness World Record holder, and a toured singer. In addition to a bright acting career, Wong has had a successful career in journalism. She graduated top of her class from The University of Hong Kong with a master’s in journalism and worked for several reputable news agencies.
In 2017, Wong returned to Canada to pursue a career in film and television, and she hasn’t looked back since. She is best known for her roles as Mei Sou in When Calls the Heart and Holly Chen in Mystery 101, both available on Hallmark Channel. She's also played supporting roles in the award-winning web series Welcome to Surrey as Skylar, and TV movies, Raise A Glass to Love and Love on Trend.
Her other credits include ABC’s A Million Little Things, NBC’s Debris, Lifetime TV’s Merry Liddle Christmas and The Neighbor in the Window and digital series Therapeutic Fibbing. If you listen closely, she can also be heard on Netflix’s The Healing Powers of Dude as Trixie and in the Madden NFL 22 video game as “Nia Polanco.”
