Minnie arrives at the store to see if she can retrieve some of her jams. A prestigious hotel in Hamilton wants to stock their breakfast bar with her jam. While this is good news, the hotel wants 500 jars by tomorrow. That means Minnie needs them done today so she can ship them. Elizabeth and Rosemary overhear and offer to help, but Minnie is thinking of letting the opportunity pass since they no longer need to pay for a lawyer. Rosemary insists she has to go for it and takes it upon herself to organize the town to help. Ned, the store owner, comes out with a few extra jars he found in the back.
Elizabeth and LJ stop by the infirmary and Elizabeth comments about the long line of patients waiting outside for Dr. Carter. The infirmary has been especially busy because it is serving both Hope Valley and the Benson Hills residents. LJ mentions the “jamboree,” referring to Minnie’s efforts to make 500 jars of jam in one day. Faith’s foster daughter Lily wants to go, but Faith tells her the infirmary is too busy. Elizabeth offers to bring Lily, which Faith agrees to, and promises to meet up with them later.
Lucas meets up with Lee to look over some of the rebuild blueprints. Lee clarifies to Lucas that he didn’t know that Fernando used to be engaged to Edie before he hired him. Lucas assures Lee that he doesn’t mind Fernando being around, which Lee finds hard to believe. Lee notices that Lucas isn’t wearing a vest, and suggests he adjusted his look to step up his game.
Christopher meets up with Henry at the saloon. He thinks his boss Mr. Whittaker may have found out he confessed about how the fire started. Henry tells him he is overthinking. Christopher then sees that there is an article in the paper about the boys being exonerated as fire suspects and starts to panic. Henry reminds him that Bill and Nathan have his back.
Elizabeth and Rosemary head into town with supplies for the jamboree. They brought LJ, Lily, and Allie along to help. Rosemary asks Elizabeth is she has any insider information about the fire, but Elizabeth shuts her down, emphasizing that even if she did know anything, it would be confidential.
Elizabeth runs into Nathan and asks him not to keep her looped in with confidential information about the fire, so she doesn’t risk spilling it to Rosemary. Then Elizabeth and Nathan schedule plans to make dinner together.
Christopher meets up with Nathan to go into the mountains to find the buried transformer. Nathan informs Christopher that he is going to be mentioned in the official complaint but reassures him that he is doing the right thing.
Things are going well at the jamboree, but Minnie is still worried something is going to go wrong. Elizabeth and Rosemary, who oversee adding the sugar to the jam, do their best to comfort her.
While Mike and Mei are having a blast stomping on the fruits for the jam, Mike mentions he wants to start a family soon. The conversation is interrupted by Mike getting stung in the face by a bee, but he claims he is immune to bees.
Lucas finds Edie in town and stops to catch up with her. She tells him she was impressed with his poker skills and notices his new vest-less style. They are interrupted by a horse that charges into town. Edie recognizes it as Ms. McCormick’s horse that has been missing since the fire and runs to catch it. Fernando appears on his horse, and Edie asks him to go after it with them.
Minnie takes a taste from the first batch and is pleasantly surprised with it. Rosemary hands her a clipboard and tells her to take charge so they can finish before the day ends. Ned arrives with more jars but accidentally included his honeymoon jar, which he got rid of the contents of not realizing what their significance was. Florence notices and gets upset that he didn’t remember its importance.
Faith and Molly are wrapping up at the infirmary, excited to head out to help make jam. Molly is about to ask Faith something before they are interrupted by a knock at the door.
LJ and Lily are working on the labels for the jars with Florence. LJ goes outside to say hi to Elizabeth and Lily watches on with a sad look. LJ runs off to play and Lily follows.
As Mike and Mei are washing off after finishing the fruit smashing, Mei notices that Mike’s face is extremely swollen from the bee sting. She takes him to the infirmary.
Nathan and Christopher hop off their horses to search for the burial site of the transformer. Nathan once again tells Christopher he is doing the right thing. Christopher is ashamed of himself for not stopping it from happening in the first place and worries that Rachel will be ashamed, too. Nathan reassures him that Rachel will appreciate his decision to make things right and stay by his side. A car suddenly starts barreling towards the pair and Nathan dives off the road, tackling Christopher away from danger in the process. They violently roll down a small hill. Nathan gets up to check on Christopher, but he is down on the ground, unresponsive.
Joseph delivers more jam to Elizabeth and Rosemary for sweetening. Elizabeth tells Rosemary it is great to see the Canfields smiling again. Cooper drops off another pot of jam to be sweetened. Rosemary once again speculates who may have started the fire now that Toby and Cooper have been cleared. Elizabeth emphasizes that she won’t share any secret information. While they are distracted talking about it, Joseph drops off another batch to be sweetened and picks up the one Cooper just left, before Elizabeth and Rosemary added the sugar.
Fernando, Edie and Lucas catch up to the wild horse in the woods. Fernando calms the horse and Lucas steps up to lasso it. He misses his first throw, and the horse loses its calm. Fernando sings to the horse in Spanish and calms it once more. While singing, he successfully ties a rope to the horse. Edie makes sure to thank both the men, even though Lucas was unsuccessful.
The jamboree is wrapping up, and everyone is beginning to load the truck with jam. In celebration, Lee decides to try a jar and notices that the taste is off and immediately tells Rosemary. While panicking, Rosemary tells Elizabeth that they missed a batch. They immediately tell Minnie, who once again starts to believe that they may have been over their heads. Rosemary refuses to concede and grabs the clipboard from Minnie and starts instructing everyone. Minnie smiles as everyone jumps in to help.
At the infirmary, Molly is helping treat Mike’s bee sting with painkillers. In his loopiness from the medicine, Mike once again proclaims that he wants to have kids and travel to Italy with Mei.
Faith is getting ready to finally leave the infirmary when Nathan arrives with Christopher. Nathan made a makeshift bandage with his clothes to stop the bleeding from Christopher’s head. Nathan tells Faith that Christopher hit his head on a rock as they were falling down the hill. Christopher is conscious but seems extremely out of it. As Nathan and Faith help Christopher walk into the infirmary, Mei notices Nathan bleeding from his side. He asserts that he is okay is tells them to focus on Christopher.
Everyone is working together at the jamboree to identify which jams are unsweetened. Just as they find the last one and reload the truck, Minnie checks the time and suggests that it’s too late to make the train. Joseph claims they can still make it. Ned and Joseph set off in the truck with the jam.
Henry stops by the infirmary to see Christopher. Faith tells him that he is okay and just needs rest. He had to get stitches in his head and sustained a mild concussion and a few bruised ribs. Henry sees Nathan lying down and asks if he is okay. Nathan emphasizes he is okay and tells Henry that he got the license plate of the car. Bill reassures Henry that Whittaker and Pioneer Electric will be held accountable if they are found guilty in court. Elizabeth rushes in to check on Nathan and is grateful to hear that he is okay, along with Christopher. Nathan protests that he will find whoever is responsible.
Faith takes Lily for food and a chocolate shake. She apologizes for missing the jamboree. Lily says she understands. Faith notices Lily has LJ’s stuffed animal dog and asks if LJ let her borrow it. Lily replies no and says it not fair that LJ spends more time with Faith than she gets to.
Joseph arrives home to Minnie with good news. The train was delayed 10 minutes and the jam made it. They hug and slow dance to music playing in the house, while reflecting on how everything is starting to work out again. Minnie says she never wants bad times like that to fall on them again. She proposes using the money from the jam to buy out Bill’s half of the café and name it Canfields. Joseph tells her he likes the idea but tells her they should name it Minnie’s. He dips her and they kiss.
Faith goes to Elizabeth’s house to return the dog toy and asks if they can talk. Faith shares with Elizabeth what Lily said. Elizabeth tells Faith that she needs to find a way to take one day off per week. While Faith agrees, it will be difficult to make that work. Elizabeth tells her that love isn’t about being everywhere at once, it’s about doing your best. Elizabeth emphasizes they need to find a way for her to get next Sunday off.
Florence and Ned return home after the jamboree. Ned apologizes for not realizing what jar he had. He gives her the jar, filled with notes of his favorite memories of them. She smiles as he reads out some of the notes and they kiss.
Edie comes to Lucas’ office to tell him that the horse was returned safely. Lucas is still frustrated that he was unable to help but Edie insists that they all played a part. She asks him to get dinner and Lucas declines, stating he has a lot of work to get through. As she is walking out, Edie clarifies that there is nothing between her and Fernando anymore.
Nathan and Elizabeth are cleaning up together after dinner. Nathan asks if the jam made the train and Elizabeth reveals that she asked a friend to lure his sheep to the track to delay the train. He laughs and reaches down to continue to clean, but winces due to the pain from his wound. Elizabeth sits him down and tells him he doesn’t have to act fine if he isn’t. Nathan tells Elizabeth that when the car was coming at them, all he could think about was Elizabeth and the kids. He asks if Elizabeth will take care of Allie if anything ever happens to him, and she agrees. She asks the same of Nathan regarding LJ, and Nathan promises.
Elizabeth and LJ arrive at the infirmary and Lily apologizes for taking the dog. LJ invites Lily to come over after school and Faith thanks them as they leave. Faith gives Lily her hair clip and tells her it’s a reminder that she is always thinking about her. Molly arrives at the infirmary and announces to Faith that she has been taking classes to officially become a nurse.
Bill informs Nathan that the plate is no longer a usable lead, as the car was traced to be a stolen vehicle, which was left to burn after the incident. Henry arrives with a note from Christopher who decided to flee. Nathan puts out a territory-wide alert so they can find him before someone dangerous does.
