The town has a new tradition to help make the wishes of the townspeople come true. Elizabeth works overtime to make one wish come true, while she waits for her own.
Abigail travels to Hamilton to stay with Elizabeth's family and is compelled to accept Bill's help on a personal matter. A heroic act by Jack brings him closer to his ex-fiancee, Rosemary.
Grace is part of her high school planning committee along with her friend, Katie. Nick confesses to Grace that he wants to ask Katie to the formal but needs her help in doing so. Grace says she will help in exchange for Nick joining the planning committee. Nick obliges if that means he gets to work with Katie. Later on, Noah shows up to ask Grace to the formal and she says yes.
This week Martha’s city council meeting has a special guest: Cassie, who gets to witness the honoring of Ben for all the work he is doing on the old Middleton Theater. Martha also approves the spending on new trees to be lined up outside the city hall and a new swing set at the park.
Cassie tells Abigail she would like to start teaching and put her art degree to use. Joy arrives, put off by a reminder of a relationship with an ex that seemed cursed. Abigail says, “Welcome to my world,” as her relationship with Donovan literally is cursed.
