Ingredients
- Butter, for greasing the bowl
- Red Velvet Cake batter
- 1 tub (16 ounces cream cheese frosting
- Marshmallow Fondant
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 ½ teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- Red food coloring gel
- 1 ½-quart ovenproof glass bowl (Pyrex)
- Cake tester

Let’s Get Started!
-Preheat the oven to 300F. Grease a 1 1/2 -quart ovenproof glass bowl.
-Prepare the Red Velvet Cake batter
-Pour the batter into the greased glass bowl until it is two-thirds full. You will have a little leftover batter.
-Slow-bake until a cake tester inserted into the center come out clean, about 1 hour 30 mins.
-Let cake cook and then remove it from the bowl Level the top with large knife and place the cake, flat side down, on the cake plate.
-Frost the cake with a very thin layer of cream cheese frosting
Time to Decorate!
-Prepare Marshmallow Fondant (or buy premade)
-Roll out the fondant into ½-inch-thick ropes and arrange them on the cake to look like a brain.
-Make fake blood by mixing the corn syrup, cocoa powder, and red food coloring.
-Brush the fake blood over the fondant with a paintbrush.
