#1. What We Wore Then: Girdles Our grandmas got their hourglass figures with the help of a girdle. But a tight girdle can restrict breathing and even bruise internal organs and damage skin if worn for too long!
Instructions: Take off the plastic straps. Cut 2 pieces of fabric about 2” wide and 1’ long. Thread fabric through toe hole. Tie knot on the underside and trim and secure with hot glue. Tie knot on the other side about ½” up from the flop (this is the toe thread). Tie a second knot above it. Thread the fabric through the ankle holes and tie a knot like the first one. Embellish any way you’d like!
