Joanne Fluke is the New York Times bestselling author of the Hannah Swensen culinary mystery series, which include “Double Fudge Brownie Murder,” “Cinnamon Roll Murder,“ “Red Velvet Cupcake Murder,“ “Plum Pudding Murder,“ and the book that started it all, “Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder.“ She’s baked over 500,000 chocolate chip cookies for fans since the series debuted 15 years ago, not to mention countless pies, cakes, muffins and other sweets. However, it’s not just the desserts that keep readers clamoring for her next novel, as reviewers have long praised Fluke’s work. Honored by RT Book Reviews as a “Living Legend”, Fluke’s most recent book, “Double Fudge Brownie Murder,“ was her ninth New York Times bestselling hardcover. Like Hannah Swensen, Joanne Fluke was born and raised in a small town in rural Minnesota, where a traffic jam was defined as two cars stuck behind a tractor. She managed to shovel her way out of the snow and now lives in California. The 19th Hannah Swensen mystery, “Wedding Cake Murder,“ will be released in March 2016.
