Cassie accepts Martha’s offer to appear on her talk show. Martha wants her to come on and talk about holistic healing. A new guest, Henry, arrives at Grey House in search of a little peace and quiet after just finishing a tour in the navy. Abigail, overwhelmed by all the work as Mayor, offers Grace an internship.
A wish-granting comet is headed to Middleton. The residents are all excited to go to the observatory to watch it as it only occurs once every 100 years. Nick and Grace get nostalgic as they deal with the last few days of high school. Adam and Stephanie are over the moon with glowing reviews of their food truck while Abigail is heartbroken over Donovan and decides to take a trip to Europe to get way from everything.
Abigail visits Donovan at the office with a toy for his dog. The two kiss but are surprised when his mom interrupts them. She invites them both to dinner. Donovan warns Abigail that his mother always has a hidden agenda and that it’s "never just dinner.”
