Actress & Executive Producer Jessica Lowndes stops by to talk about her new Hallmark Channel Fall Harvest movie, “Over the Moon in Love,” premiering Saturday, October 5th at 9pm/8c. Crab Apple Rose Pie
Host of “America’s Test Kitchen” and editor of “The Perfect Pie,” Julia Collin Davison does a deliciously tart take on apple pie. Julia par-cooks the apples which will set the pectin, forming a heat stable pectin so when you bake the pie the apples won’t get mushy. The pie dough is a mix of cookie dough with a pie dough pulsed in, which will make the crust flaky but sturdy.
DIY Kitty Hammock
Paige Hemmis takes cat naps to the next level with an adorable DIY kitty hammock. This DIY does not require any sewing, but do leave the hammock to dry at least 24 hours before the kitties use it. Using a table made from real wood is safest. Depending on your table’s material you may need to pre-drill the legs to avoid splitting the wood.

Orly Shani shows you a fun way to add a pop of color and new life to an old table. Orly uses an ultra matte color finish by Design Master because it goes on sheer and it is buildable. If you don’t have a steady hand, she recommends using a gold metallic paint pen and a ruler to make clean straight lines for the edges to use as a marker and then go over it with gilded paint.
Roasted Carrots with Harissa
Debbie shares her roasted carrots with harissa recipe, perfect for a side dish to any meal. For more flavor and nutritional value, do not peel the carrots just wash them really well. Roasting at a high temperature brings out the natural sweetness. Harissa is a spicy and aromatic chili paste used in north African and middle eastern cuisine.
