Jolene Purdy Interview
The actress sits down with Mark and Debbie to talk about the fourth season of the Netflix series, “Orange is the New Black.” She plays the main character Piper’s new bunkmate/bodyguard. She even shares the story of the upstate New York film set being haunted, which is an abandoned children’s psychiatric ward. Aside from acting, Jolene is also a fan of taking on her home renovations and brings Home & Family before and after photos.
DIY Beaded Purses
Orly Shani is in the craft room showing you how to make your own fashionable beaded purse. She recommends finding your purse at a second-hand store to save money. When it comes to creating your own stencil, use scratch paper and trace what you want your design to look like. She recommends buying the bag first before buying the trim. Chef Francis Derby Visits
The executive chef of Cannibal LA is in the Home & Family kitchen making his famous cannibal hamburger. He recommends using beef and short rib for a tender burger. Francis also discusses which meats to pair with your beers. When it comes to his Cannibal burger, he recommends a nice American wheat ale.

Tammin Sursok Interview

Maple Glazed Chicken with Bush’s Beans
Mark and Debbie are back in the kitchen and this time making mouth-watering maple glazed chicken with the help of Bush’s baked beans. Debbie admits that the baked beans are so delicious she used to eat them out of the can as a kid. While Sophie talks about all the nutrients the beans provide. When it comes to the chicken, Debbie reminds you to glaze the chicken after cooking it, so it doesn’t burn.

DIY Magnesium Spray
Sophie Uliano is introducing Home & Family to the importance of magnesium. Some signs that your body is not getting enough magnesium includes agitation, anxiety, irritability, insomnia and even seizures. Foods like spinach, chard, pumpkin seeds, avocado and banana are excellent sources for magnesium. If you do find yourself needing more magnesium, Sophie shows you how to make your own spray for your body to absorb it easier. She recommends 10 spritzes twice a day.
