Crispy Squash Flowers and Whipped Beans
Owner of Dama restaurant, chef Antonia Lofaso is in the kitchen making crispy squash flowers and white whipped green beans tostada. When it comes to whipping the green beans, make sure they are warm so they puree a lot faster. For added flavor with the whipped green beans, she recommends garnishing with pickled onions and radishes. The finishing touch to the tostada is crispy pork, chopped chives and fresh Mexican cheese. She also makes her own batter to dip the squash flowers, when it comes to frying them.

Make sure your yarn is wrapped tight around your pool noodles and keep pushing it down as you are wrapping, so it thickens the noodle up. DIY Coffee Canisters
Maria Provenzano is sharing her love for coffee with these fun DIY coffee canisters that she describes as “pretty and practical.” To get your measurements precise for your canisters, she recommends using fabric measuring tape because it is the most accurate when wrapping around the canister. When it comes to painting your canister, she uses a sponge brush to apply her enamel paint, cautioning you to stay away from acrylic paint. Enamel paint will not peel off when you put in the dishwasher.
