Cristina's Slow Cooking Tips:
·      Use inexpensive cuts of meat. Slow cooking in moist heat breaks down meat making it tender
·      Don’t overfill the cooker. ½ to ¾ full is best so moist air can circulate
·      Keep the lid on to maintain the internal temperature but stir when necessary
·      Use less salt. Melding flavors enhances salt taste
