Alison Sweeney
Actress Alison Sweeney stops by to talk about her new Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie, “Chronicle Mysteries: Vines That Bind.” She also was an executive producer on the movie. This is the third installment of the series, but Alison promises there will be more! She jokes that she had to visit Canadian wineries in order to get into character and it was a tough job but someone had to do it. Calabacitas Con Queso
Aarón Sánchez of “MasterChef Junior” is in the kitchen making a Spanish favorite, calabacitas con queso. He calls this dish his comfort food and it is also easy to make at home. The dish starts with big flavors in the pesto, like garlic and jalapeños. Just remember to remove the seeds and ribs from the peppers in order to reduce the heat. You can place any extra pesto in the refrigerator for up to a week, then serve. He also cooks the zucchini in bacon fat for extra-flavor and richness.
