Actress Jodie Sweetin stops by Home & Family to talk about her Hallmark Channel Original movie, “Entertaining Christmas,” which premieres Saturday, December 15th at 8/7c. She also opens up about what it was like recording her own version of the Christmas classic, “Santa Baby.”
Vanilla Salted Caramel Budino
Celebrity chef Scott Conant is in the kitchen making the ultimate dessert with a homemade salted caramel sauce. He explains that budino is an Italian pudding. When done making the budino, place it in a piping bag, pour it in glasses and place the dessert in the refrigerator for a few hours. Make sure you add saran wrap on top of the glasses to avoid the budino forming a skin on top.
DIY Tree Collar
Ken Wingard talks about his recent trip to Hallmark Cards headquarters in Kansas City, where he learned more about the Storyteller ornaments which tell the story of a Charlie Brown Christmas. He brings video from his trip, which features him sitting with Hallmark artists to learn more about the Storyteller ornaments. Inspired by his trip, Ken also makes his own DIY tree collar that resembles Christmas lights.

Naughty and Nice Cookies
Owner of “Cookie Good,” Ross Canter is making two types of cookies, depending on if you have been naughty or nice. The “nice” cookies are peppermint sprinkled and the “naughty” cookies resemble lumps of coal! For the coal cookies, he uses black cocoa to get them so dark.
DIY Glittery Christmas Village
Maria Provenzano was inspired by her trip to Hallmark Cards headquarters to make a glittery Christmas village. You can find your own Putz House template at ThinkMakeShareBlog.com. The base of the house can be made from a recycled cereal box that she flattens. Once the glitter dries, cover the house with more Mod Podge to help keep the glitter in place.
