Ivy 101
Shirley Bovshow is showing you how to care for ivy and keep it fresh. The first step is placing your ivy in a bucket immediately and submerging it in water right after you cut it. The ivy is a plant that will seek out support, clinging to walls and destroying them. She recommends growing it indoors because the ivy is well-behaved, as long as the room gets light. The most important part to remember is to only water the ivy when the plant needs it, which you can tell by feeling the soil with your hands.

Coq Au Vin
Host of EntertainingWithBeth.com, Beth Le Manach is in the kitchen making the classic dish, coq au vin with chicken legs and bacon. When adding the alcohol to the vegetables, she advises you to turn the flame off over the stove to avoid starting a fire. If you need to save time, you can prepare this dish in advance, refrigerate it, then place it back in the oven.
