Shirley Bovshow is showing you how to care for ivy and keep it fresh. The first step is placing your ivy in a bucket immediately and submerging it in water right after you cut it. The ivy is a plant that will seek out support, clinging to walls and destroying them. She recommends growing it indoors because the ivy is well-behaved, as long as the room gets light. The most important part to remember is to only water the ivy when the plant needs it, which you can tell by feeling the soil with your hands.

Host of EntertainingWithBeth.com, Beth Le Manach is in the kitchen making the classic dish, coq au vin with chicken legs and bacon.
