Crab Beignets with Chili Aioli

Chef David Rose of “Food Network Star,” is in the kitchen making a delicious batch of crab beignets with chili aioli. Whip the batter until it is smooth and without lumps. The most important ingredient is the fresh high quality jumbo lump crab. He adds bacon to the beignets for a little extra sweetness.

DIY Summer Soiree

Calming the Canines

Larissa Wohl talks about how 4th of July is the highest intake of cats and dogs at shelters because so many run away due to the loud noises. Today, she is joined by John Reynolds using FaceTime to talk about the Maricopa County Animal Care and Control program called “Calming the Canines.” The Arizona shelter accepts volunteers to come in on 4th of July and sooth the anxious animals, who might be experiencing their anxiety because of the fireworks outside.

Noah Lambrecht

Runner and heart surgery survivor Noah Lambrecht sits down with Home & Family to share his story. He discusses what it was like having three open heart surgeries before he was even a year old. He was born on a sidewalk in Chicago during a blizzard and later adopted by a loving couple who raised him in Nebraska. His parents were told he would not see his first birthday, but today he is 18 and runs cross country and plays the drums.
