INSTRUCTIONS:
To Create the Rhinestone Slippers:
- Place a gem in the center of where your design will be first, glue down. This takes some of the guesswork out of spacing and arrangement. PRO TIP: If using fur slippers, part the hair where you want to, then glue gems in place.
- Arrange the other gems around the center one to complete your design. PRO TIP: Use a jewel picker or other utensil to place gems with ease.
- Glue the gems down in place. Repeat on the other slipper.
- Allow the glue to dry for 24 hours and enjoy!
To Create the Sequin Slippers:
- To create a pattern for your sequin fabric, spray your slipper with tacky spray and lay a piece of muslin on top. Trace around the edge of the top of the shoe where you want to add the sequins. Cut the pattern out.
- Trace the pattern onto your sequin fabric and cut.
- Adhere the sequin fabric to the slipper. Apply fabri-tac around the edges of the slipper. Use your fingernail or a pointed utensil to firmly press the edge of the fabric down so that it appears seamless. Repeat on the other slipper.
- Allow the glue to dry for 24 hours and enjoy!
