Yakov Smirnoff Interview
The legendary comedian/psychologist/professor, Yakov Smirnoff visits with Home & Family to talk about his comedic TV show, “Happily Ever Laughter: The Neuroscience of Romantic Relationships” which is meant to help couples sustain joy in their relationship. He recommends keeping the honeymoon phase alive and understanding that men and women have different needs. Remember the couple who laughs together often stays together because laughter is necessary for happiness.

DIY Cheese Grater Lights
Paige Hemmis is showing you how to use cheese graters for something other than grating cheese. Today she is using one to make her own light fixture! She credits the cheese grater to giving the design a more industrial look. Before getting started, she recommends purchasing the wood at a hardware store and asking them to cut the wood for you. She has seen similar lights costing up to $2,400 at retail shops, but using Paige’s instructions, this DIY will cost you just $50.

She now has her own Etsy shop and has more confidence in her DIY projects. She explains that the felt boards are great for kids of all ages.

Setting Up Sleep Patterns From Day One
Kristin Smith is back with certified infant & toddler sleep consultant, Natalie Willes to talk about her secrets when it comes to sleep training. Kristin credits Natalie with helping her out when it came to her son sleeping through the night. Natalie says that parents can start sleep training their children as early as four months of age. Kristin says that thanks to Natalie’s tips, Kingston now sleeps up to 12 hours a night. Natalie recommends baby monitors to help keep track of your child’s sleep routine.
