DIY Nativity Scene
Paige Hemmis is getting ready for the holidays with this festive DIY, a nativity scene that you can hang on a wall. This DIY has a special meaning to Paige, because it brings back memories of celebrating Christmas as a child. She recommends making this DIY look more rustic by using sanding paper to scruff up the edges when you are done.

Cary Deuber and her husband, board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Mark Deuber are in the Home & Family kitchen today making one of their favorite dishes from the French Laundry Cookbook, lemon ricotta ravioli. If you want extra flavor to your sauce, they recommend adding shallots to the brown butter. For extra-protein, the husband and wife suggests shrimp or scallops to the dish.

Singer and author of “Rock and Soul,” Thomas McClary vitas Home & Family to talk about his time in the legendary band, The Commodores. Thomas shares early stories of the band, who formed in 1968 at Tuskegee University. After his interview, Thomas even performs a song for the audience.
Tuscan Kale and Sausage Stuffing
Chef Elise Wims of “Hell’s Kitchen: All-Stars” is in the kitchen making a delicious stuffing with kale and sausage. She recommends soaking the bread in a mixture for 30 minutes, flipping occasionally to make sure it all gets covered. When done, bake the stuffing in a baking dish with measurements 9x13. You will know when you are done when the stuffing is lightly brown while baking, uncovered.

Actors Scarlett Estevez and Owen Vaccaro sit down with Mark and Debbie to talk about the release of their new movie, “Daddy’s Home 2,” with hits theaters Friday, November 10th. They also share photos from the set. The pint-sized actors also share stories of how much fun they had filming the movie which also stars Mark Wahlberg, John Lithgow, John Cena and Will Ferrell.

As for tips, they recommend you keep it classy and not to over-light your house and sketch a design of how you see your lights on our house, first, before purchasing them. When done, just plug your lights into your own Light-O-Rama to create a light show.
Avoiding Food Poisoning
Dr. JJ is here to give you some helpful tips to avoid food poisoning this holiday season. She recommends you keep raw foods separate from one another and always cook your foods at a safe temperature. She also wants you to wash hands, utensils and surfaces often with soapy water and finally always defrost your foods safely and freeze perishable foods.
