She makes her own fillings using cream, eggs and sugar, which makes homemade eggnog! She also places a little rum in the filling, but points out that the alcohol will not burn off, so be cautious with the amount you decide to add.

Dr. Nita Landry of “The Doctors,” is here to debunk some common winter health myths. She tells you that soap and water are the best way to fend off germs, over alcohol-based hand sanitizers. The doctor also advises you to take in nutritious foods and water when you have a cold or a fever, never starve yourself. Finally, remember that antibiotics are not a proper way to treat the flu.

She designs her key necklaces, earrings and bracelets to have positive messages. Her company employs over a hundred people who are transitioning out of homelessness to help out with making the jewelry.
