Hot Dog Cook-Off
Ken, Maria and Debbie have a summertime hot dog cook-off by making their own unique styles of hot dogs. Ken’s includes a homemade Georgia peach relish and Debbie’s has grilled cheese added to her hot dog with a homemade tomato soup ketchup. Meanwhile Maria’s hot dog looks like a dog, which kids will love.

DIY Wedding Card Boxes
Maria Provenzano is showing you how to turn crates and old mailboxes into wedding card boxes for guests to place their own cards and gifts. You should match the colors of the crates to your wedding theme. This DIY was inspired by Maria’s own wedding and her lack of planning for her guests to have a spot to place cards and gifts at the event. Find the extra embellishments at your local craft store.
Actress Melora Hardin visits Home & Family to talk about her two-hour series premiere of Freeform’s “The Bold Type,” which you can watch tonight at 8/7c. In celebration of June weddings, the actress talks about her own 20th wedding anniversary. A fun fact is that Melora’s real life husband plays her husband on “The Bold Type.”

Chef and owner of Kali Restaurant, Kevin Meehan is making a refreshing summertime salad with homemade pistachio gremolata. The avocados should be medium ripe and charred a day before, then chilled in the refrigerator. As far as greens are concerned, use whatever your favorite is for a salad, from kale to arugula.

She gives brides a piece of advice, focus on the fit of the dress and not the number of the size. When purchasing a dress, add between 20-30% of your budget for alterations.
DIY Barn Door
Guest host Colin Ferguson is taking plywood and stain and creting a DIY barn door which can also be displayed as a home decoration. In order for the barn door to stick out, use a plank behind the track and paint the door whatever color you desire. In the end, Debbie comments on the easiness of the project. Colin urges you to just follow the instructions.

Senior Vice President of American Red Cross Blood Services Cliff Numark sits down with Home & Family to discuss the importance of giving blood. He also discusses that the number of blood donors has come down and that is why they need people more than ever. He also shares stories of patients who are only alive because of donated blood.
