Potato and Goat Cheese Pierogi
Chef Chris Santos of “Chopped,” stops by the kitchen to make potato and goat cheese pierogi with caramelized onions, a recipe from his cookbook, “Share.” Before getting started, he explains that a pierogi is basically a hand-held dumpling of Eastern European descent. His recipe is unique because he adds sour cream to the dough to make it more tender and flaky. For even more flavor, you can add bacon or scallions!
