Skyler Shays Interview

The actress visits Home & Family to talk about Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Original Movie, “J.L. Family Ranch” which premieres Sunday, August 21st at 9/8c. Skyler opens up about her close friendship with her godfather, Jon Voight. The actor has mentored her throughout her career, offering up acting advice when they were starring alongside in “J.L. Family Ranch” together. Skyler has always had a love for the entertainment industry, especially since Jon has taken her to so many movie premieres when she was growing up.

Mac and Cheese Cook-Off

Debbie, Orly Shani and Matt Iseman are in the kitchen getting ready for a mac and cheese cook-off. Matt is making a smoky bacon mac and cheese. Today’s judges are Sandie Newton, Skylar Shaye and Sonia Gasparian and they love Matt’s recipe’s smoky flavor with the added crunch of the bacon. Meanwhile Orly’s mac and cheese has peas and bacon with white cheddar. Debbie’s mac and cheese has crab and jalapeños with five different cheeses. In the end, Debbie wins the cook-off!

The actress sits down with Mark and Debbie to talk about her new TLC Tyler Perry series, “Too Close to Home,” which premieres Monday, August 22nd at 9/8c. She jokes that she almost didn’t try out for the role because she was sick on the day of her audition, but she powered through and four days later she got the offer. This is a dream come true for Ashley because Tyler Perry is one of her idols.

DIY 80’s Arcade Bar

Matt Iseman and Mark are creating the perfect addition to a man cave, an 80’s arcade bar. You can find an old non-working arcade game online for around a hundred dollars. You will also need to purchase a Kegerator to keep the beer cold and it fits perfectly behind the gutted arcade game.
