Celebrate Spring with a beautiful and inexpensive mantel using items you already have.

MATERIALS:

  • Paperwhites
  • Terracotta and other neutral-toned pots
  • Empty frames in white or other neutral colors
  • Natural-toned or muted décor

Optional if you don’t have real paperwhites:

  • Branches from backyard
  • Silk flowers
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks

TO CREATE THE BUNNY PHOTO:

  • Bunny photo provided (download here)
  • Scissors
  • Wooden artist canvas
  • Spray adhesive
  • X-acto knife
  • Cutting mat
DIY Spring Mantel - Home & Family

INSTRUCTIONS:

TO CREATE THE BUNNY PHOTO:

  1. Print the provided photo of Munchie the bunny. (Print here)
  2. Attach the photo to the canvas. Spray adhesive onto the wooden canvas then smooth the photo on in the desired position with your hands.
  3. Flip canvas face side down on cutting mat then trim the photo to the edge of the wood using an X-Acto knife.

TO DECORATE:

  1. Arrange the frames and bunny canvas as desired on the mantle. PRO TIP: If you cannot find the right color of the frame, you can always paint to the desired color! Allow the paint to dry before using.
  2. Put the paperwhites into pots.
  3. Place floral branches into neutral vases.
  4. Arrange the décor as you’d like. Enjoy!
