The doctor explains that dental disease is the most undiagnosed condition in pets. When it comes to introducing your dog to oral care, he recommends starting slowly. A first step is to lift up their lips to check their gums daily. After that, brush one tooth at a time with dog toothpaste and work your way up to more teeth as they get comfortable with the brush.
