In 1814 as Jacob comes in from the boat, officers on horse storm onto the beach, knocking Elijah to the ground and Kat into the water. They arrest Jacob for treason and drag him away, leaving Kat and Elijah distraught on the beach.

Jacob was taken by Cyrus Goodwin’s men to his estate, and Kat, Susanna and Thomas come up with a plan to distract Cyrus and his men and break Jacob free using the Goodwin ‘G’ key that Kat found in present day.

After finding Jacob injured from Cyrus and his men, Kat desperately gathers medicine and supplies. The pond has other ideas, though, and it doesn’t allow her to take them to 1814.

As an injured and fever-ridden Adult Jacob recovers, Kat tries to get Jacob to remember her and their family. She sings Colton’s song to him in the hopes that he will recall, and he does.

Del has been growing closer with her neighbor, Sam, for quite some time. She finally lets her guard down and begins seeing more of Sam, who wants to know more about her and her plans for the Landry farm.

Alice learns first-hand about the masquerade party that Elliot and Kat threw at Lingermore in 2007. Alice attends the party and speaks to Young Kat, which Kat doesn’t remember. At the party, Elliot winds up fighting with Brady, which ends with Kat getting struck and landing in the pool, bleeding.

After a Young Kat tells Elliot that she wants to go to London with him, Alice begs Elliot to let Brady win Kat. Alice and Elliot both know that if Kat and Brady break up, Alice might not exist in the future. Elliot tells Alice that Kat wants him now, and he's not losing his chance.

Elliot, Kat, Monica and Nick reunite at Elliot’s for drinks and dancing after Rita’s ghost tour of Port Haven. The evening ends with a kiss between Elliot and Kat, along with Nick discovering Alice’s time travel via Elliot’s notes.
Alice and Kat reuniting after time traveling separately
Kat is sent to 1814 while Alice is sent to 2007. After Alice witnesses everything Young Kat went through, the two reunite with a hug in the Landry kitchen.

After healing from Cyrus Goodwin's torture, Adult Jacob tells Kat that he isn't going to come home. He's lived his whole life in his time and believes he belongs there.

After Alice discovers that the letter, ticket and picture Young Kat left for Del never made it to her, she shows Del with Kat. Del and Kat apologize to one another and hug, burying their years' long grudge.

After Kat revealed the coins that Thomas gave her in the 1800s to Elliot, he had them appraised and realized they're worth a small fortune. Del just might be in the clear with her land if the coins are worth as much as the numismatist thinks they are.

Despite telling Kat that he won't be coming home, Adult Jacob time travels through the pond to 2024. He tells Kat that Susanna, Elijah and Thomas all encouraged him to do it, and that he's ready to go inside the house to Del.
