Name three of your favorite bands or musicians.
I’m all over the map when it comes to music. Alan Jackson, Mumford & Sons, and Sohn. I also love Steve Martin & the Steep Canyon Rangers, and also the Talking Heads!
Can you play any musical instruments? If yes, which one(s)? If not, what instrument would be your first choice to learn and why?
I’ve actually been teaching myself (with the great help of YouTube “university”) the Djembe drum, and I want to learn the guitar eventually.
What is your favorite music genre?
Honestly, I don’t have a favorite. I love 80s classics, but I grew up in the 90s and there are so many iconic songs in so many different genres from that era that it’s too hard to just choose one favorite genre. And, then I love showtunes and movie scores too!
Can you name one thing you learned while working with your co-star, Corey Cott that had a positive impact on you?
I definitely quizzed him daily on what it was like to work on Broadway! But, I am honored by his work ethic and anyone who can sing as he does so effortlessly is captivating. He was a great partner to work with. Plus, he and his entire family are so beyond lovely, they made me feel so comfortable instantly.
