Corey Cott has spent much of the last decade building a versatile career as an actor and singer on stage and screen. Immediately after graduation from Carnegie Mellon School of Drama, Cott made his Broadway debut starring as Jack Kelly for two years in Disney’s Newsies, which was immediately followed by Gaston Lachaille opposite Vanessa Hudgens and Victoria Clark in the Broadway revival of Gigi. He then received critical acclaim for his performance as Donny Novitski in the Tony Award winning musical Bandstand, which was filmed live and can be streamed on demand.
On screen, he co-starred alongside Kim Cattrall in the FOX series “Filthy Rich.” He also starred in Hallmark Channel’s “Butlers in Love.” Other TV show appearances include CBS’ “The Equalizer,” “Evil” and “The Good Fight;” NBC’s “Chicago Med,” “Law & Order” and “Law & Order: SVU;” Amazon Prime’s “Z: The Beginning of Everything” and the BBC miniseries “My Mother and Other Strangers.”
A native of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Cott starred in Francesca Zambello’s productions of West Side Story at Chicago’s Lyric Theater, and in concert with the National Symphony Orchestra at The Kennedy Center, conducted by Steven Reineke. He made his Carnegie Hall debut singing with the New York Pops, and frequently performs in concert throughout the country.
