Manu

Born and raised in Hawaii, Kanoa Goo has quickly established himself as a face to watch in television, film, and theater alike. Discovering his passion for acting early on, he has never looked back. The New York University alum currently can be seen in major story arcs on some of network television’s most-watched primetime series, including CBS’ “Fire Country” and ABC’s “The Rookie.”

On the film side, he starred in I Was A Simple Man alongside Constance Wu, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. It was later dubbed as one of “the best movies of 2021” by The New Yorker, being praised for its entirely Asian and Pacific Islander cast. This year, Goo will costar in Zoe Eisenberg’s directorial debut, the buzzy independent drama, Chaperone.

Returning to his theatre roots, Goo starred as one of three actors in Pulitzer Prize winner Martyna Majok’s play, Sanctuary City, at the esteemed Pasadena Playhouse in 2022.

Taking great pride in his mixed heritage, Goo is taking on leading roles that further Asian and Pacific Islander inclusion within the entertainment industry while contributing to his vibrant community’s visibility on screen.

He currently resides in Los Angeles.
