Colin Lawrence was born in London, England by way of Jamaican parents, and brought up in Vancouver, British Columbia. Since his early 20s, Lawrence has been recurring and guest starring in many popular television series. Notably, from 2006-2009 Lawrence gained recognition as Hamish “Skulls” McCall on the acclaimed, rebooted “Battlestar Galactica” series. His resume also includes a long list of roles in films, and he has gotten to work with some of the biggest names in the business along the way. More recently, viewers will recognize Lawrence from his roles in shows like “The Killing,” “iZombie,” “The Good Doctor” and “Riverdale.” Currently, his role as John “Preacher” Middleton in the Netflix hit series, “Virgin River” has gained him global recognition.
