Table leg – We bought these at Home Depot, but if you want to make this project a little more rustic, repurpose an old table leg. If you have a table lying around the house you don't need or if you find one at a flea market or garage sale, break it down and use those legs!Wooden craft plaques for the top and base. Spray Paint (any color)1 roll bathroom tissue for each basketMagic Markers (to draw faces)Orange construction paper (duck and chick)Pink construction paper (bunny)1 (1-1/2') pom-pom (bunny tail)White acrylic paintSponge to apply paintMiniature flowers, pom-poms, and ribbonStraw hat for the duckGlue GunEaster grass and candies Spray toilet paper rolls desired color. Draw faces on each roll of tissue. Cut the duck or chick beak and feet from orange construction paper. Cut ears and feet for bunnies from pink construction paper. Glue ears into bunny by spreading the paper enough to snuggly affix ears in place. Glue beaks and feet in place. Sponge paint onto feet and ears of bunnies to create the appearance of fur. Push Easter grass and candies in the tube. Decorate with small flowers or pom-poms, a tied ribbon at the neck, and a hat for the duck.
Cylindrical vase or clean empty canTwo sided tape (found at most hardware or scrapbooking stores)Rubber bandCandy canesWide ribbon (must be wider than rubber band)RosesInstructions: Wrap the two sided tape around the vase/can once approximately halfway down the vase/can. (The two sided tape will help keep the candy canes from sliding out from under the rubber band.) Slide rubber band around the vase/can. Begin inserting the candy canes behind the rubber band. Tie the ribbon around the vase/can taking care to cover the rubber band with the ribbon. Fill with water and arrange roses. Place Card Holders
