Each year a 100 ft. Douglas fir tree makes its way from Oregon to Kansas City and becomes the Mayors Christmas Tree. The gorgeous tree is featured at Crown Center in Downtown Kansas City. The tree trunk is then turned into ornaments, which are sold to help thousands of Kansas City's less fortunate.
