Denise is a self-proclaimed foodie who recently added author to her list of accomplishments. Under her Weeziana Girl, Inc. culinary banner, she released a cookbook, Southern Modified, alongside “Food Network Star” chef Jernard Wells. She also owns a spice line inspired by her Louisiana roots.

Growing up in the small town of Maurice, Louisiana, Denise dreamed the more practical dream of becoming a doctor, as conquering the “Lights and Cameras” of Hollywood never crossed her mind. Medical school no longer a passion, she switched gears, earning a degree in Mass Communications, minor in Marketing from Louisiana State University. Boutté’s creative intuition led her to Dallas, Texas and the world of advertising. She quickly climbed the ranks from account executive to director of leading brands including Frito Lay, Pampers, Fossil and Mary Kay Cosmetics, among others. While overseeing client campaigns, she was introduced to life on set, the seed was planted and she headed West.

Colin Lawrence was born in London, England by way of Jamaican parents, and brought up in Vancouver, British Columbia. Since his early 20s, Lawrence has been recurring and guest starring in many popular television series. Notably, from 2006-2009 Lawrence gained recognition as Hamish “Skulls” McCall on the acclaimed, rebooted “Battlestar Galactica” series.

Most recently, Karen starred as Dr. Nya Wallace, one of the four new leads in the “Sex and the City” reboot, “And Just Like That.”

She is also known for her pivotal roles as Mia Jordan on the Apple TV+ Emmy-winning, Golden Globe and SAG-nominated series “The Morning Show,” Lisa on FX’s award-winning series “The Americans,” as Priscilla Ridley on Marvel’s “Luke Cage” on Netflix, and as Willa Hayes on the Paramount+ smash hit, “Yellowstone.”

Karen graduated from Northwestern University Bienen School of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Voice and Opera and from NYU Tisch School of the Arts Grad Acting Program with a Master of Fine Arts in Acting.

Erica Ash stars as Reesa in Unthinkably Good Things.


Did you Know?

Erica’s entertainment path began on stage with Broadway productions including The Lion King, starring as Nala, Spamalot, starring as Lady of the Lake, and the original Broadway cast of Baby it’s You, as Addie “Micki” Harris and Dionne Warwick, for which she won an NAACP Theater Award for Best Supporting Actress.

She was a cast member and contributing writer on Fox’s MADtv, Season 14.

Lance is the first actor to win four NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role on Tyler Perry’s “House of Payne.”
