Miss America 2017 Savvy Shields sits down with Mark and Debbie to talk about her journey to Miss America. She admits that no-one can prepare you for the that crowning moment. She started participating in pageants when she was just 13 while growing up in Arkansas. She also opens up about her insecurities and learning to love the skin she is in. She loves to encourage women of all ages to not define themselves by external sources.
Lauren Ash Interview
The comedic actress talks about the return of her NBC comedy series, “Superstore,” which airs Thursdays at 8/7c. She jokes that her character gets redeemed in the season premiere, especially because fans turned on her after the finale of last season. She credits her background in improv comedy for helping her prepare in playing the role of “Christine.” Lauren even opens up about the perils of online dating but now is happy to talk about the healthy relationship she enjoys today.
