  • 3/4 " Plywood
  • Wood Glue
  • 1 5/8" Screws
  • Casters
  • Foam Brush
  • Screw Gun
  • Drill Bits
  • Saw
  • Paint
  • Gel Medium
  • Pictures From Laser Printer
  • Sponge
  • Butter Knife

DIY Rolling Storage Cubes - Home& Family

Directions to Make the Box

1) Cut 3/4" lumber into 2 pieces at 12" x 12" top/bottom

2) 2 pieces at 12" x 10 1/2" sides

3) 1 piece at 1 1/2" x 10 1/2 guard rail

4) Apply wood glues and make box with guard rail for books

5) Add casters (make sure you have screws for these) with 5/8" screws

6) Putty holes for a better effect

7) Paint boxes fun bright colors

8) Print fun photos from laser printer

9) Add gel to front side of photo using foam brush

10) Flip over and apply each photo to sides of box. When applying press firm and smooth out any air bubbles. Use knife if needed. Wait 8-10 hours.

11) Rub off paper with wet sponge
