Teaching Dads How to Style Their Daughter’s Hair
Ken Wingard is joined by celebrity hairstylist Giles Robinson in hopes of getting a little help in styling his daughter Coco’s hair. Giles recommends a product that will detangle hair when it is soaking wet, also using a “Tangle Teaser” brush. He recommends a “Mason Pearson” brush to style dry hair and even introduces a easy-to-use hairdo that does not pull or tug hair called the “Invisi Bobble.” He recommends the Pop and Lock Shellac.

Actress Tasha Smith stops by to talk to Mark and Cristina about the seventh season of OWN’s “For Better or Worst.” She jokes that she has never eaten better than when she visits Home & Family. Tasha’s crazy attitude and loud-mouthed character, “Angela” stands out so much on the show, that she has actually been recognized for the role in places like the Caribbean. Her love interest on the show, Michael Jai White is her real life ex-boyfriend and now they have a brother and sister-like relationship. Tasha also has her own acting workshop, as well.

Dry Ice Soft Serve Ice Cream
Dan Kohler is back in the kitchen and this time he is preparing Dry Ice Soft Serve Ice Cream! He explains that dry ice is actually frozen carbon dioxide and is mostly used for making fog and mist. Also, always remember to wear gloves when handling dry ice to avoid frostbite. When you blend milk, powder, sugar, vanilla, salt and sprinkle in the dry ice, you create the soft serve ice cream by chilling it from inside out!

Baby Hacks
Debbie Matenopoulos has a list of baby hacks that will help out moms at home! She suggests using a pool noodle as a door stopper. Debbie also uses a glue gun at the bottom of her baby’s shoes to create more friction or when they start to walk. DIY Mushroom Reading Stool
Tanya Memme and Paige Hemmis have teamed up to make their own mushroom reading stool! Tanya points out that all her materials were bought at the craft store, while Paige found all of her materials at the hardware store. The base of the stool should be a plastic pot, to avoid being too heavy. The retail cost of the chair will cost you $250, but if you make it your own it will cost you under $50!
