Tiny Tim’s Toys
Alton and Cheryl Thacker discuss their foundation “Tiny Tim’s Foundation for Kids,” which makes toys for children in need. The wood that Alton chooses for his toys is recycled wood that would have been wasted by being thrown away. He collects wood every Tuesday for the entire year. Today, Alton and Cheryl have 35 volunteers a week who come in and build toys for children, each bringing unique sets of skills.

Cinnamon Biscuits
Founder of “Callie’s Charleston Biscuits,” Carrie Morey is in the kitchen making cinnamon biscuits. She first learned how to make these biscuits from her mother, Callie, who was a caterer. One of they key ingredients is White Lilley Southern Flour, to help get the biscuits to rise perfectly. She also adds two fats to the recipe: butter and cream cheese, to make it extra-rich and flavorful. When done, she tops each biscuit with a dash of cinnamon.
