Actress Diane Ladd sits down with Mark and Cristina to talk about her new holiday movie, “Joy” based on the story of real life entrepreneur, Joy Mangano. Diane took on the role of narrator in the movie and brings the film’s trailer for Home & Family to enjoy. Cristina describes Diane as the heart and soul of the movie. The actress credits co-star Jennifer Lawrence with being a true professional. In real life, Diane has a lot of grandchildren and Christmas time is very important for her family.
Cristina Cooks French Toast
Cristina is in the kitchen whipping up the perfect Christmas brunch, which includes a flavorful Pistachio French Toast with Pomegranate Compote. Brioche makes for the perfect bread to use because it absorbs the egg mixture. Soak the bread in the egg mixture for two minutes on each side before putting onto the stove.

Pint-sized singer Heavenly Joy Jenkins visits Home & Family to talk about her audition on the competition television show, “America’s Got Talent.” Heavenly started singing at the age of two and her parents encouraged her desire to pursue her dreams at a very young age. Heavenly’s favorite singer is Michael Jackson. After her interview, she sings “Christmas Time” which was written by her father, music producer, Rodney Jerkins. After her performance, Mark and Cristina surprise her with a pet bunny, a pet she has always wanted.
