Sarah Michelle Gellar Cooks
The founder of Foodstirs is back in the kitchen and this time she is making the perfect movie night snacks. She jokes that movies in her house are called “boomerangs” because her son and daughter have to watch them on loop. She also reveals that her kids have never seen the movie, “Scooby Doo” the film where her and her husband, Freddie Prinze Jr. met, but hasn’t it ruled out for when they get older.

Yakitori Chicken Meatballs
Chef and actor Jake Smollett is in the Home & Family kitchen, whipping up some delicious appetizers, Yakitori Chicken Meatballs. Before getting started, Jake talks about his show business family and how they participate in his cooking show on Food Network, “Smollett Eats,” which airs Saturdays at 12:30/11:30c. One cooking tip Jake offers is to always have an onion, garlic and celery in your kitchen as a base for your recipes.

Tia Mowry and Donal Skehan are in the kitchen whipping some grilling lollipop lamb chops and pairing it with a decadent polenta chocolate cake.
Queen Latifah Cooks
The actress/recording artist Queen Latifah sits down with Mark and Debbie to talk about her work with the American Heart Association. She got involved with the organization after her own mother was diagnosed with heart failure. She also shares stories about her childhood of growing up in the projects. After her interview, Queen Latifah joins Debbie in the kitchen cooking heart healthy mac & cheese.
Tofu RIce
The Grammy-award winning singer/songwriter Olivia Newton-John visits Home & Family to talk about her new CD, titled “Liv On.” She is joined by singer/songwriters Amy Sky Beth Nielsen-Chapman. The album is about those transcend through grief and hits stores October 14th. After the interview, Olivia heads to the kitchen to make tofu rice!
King Ranch Enchiladas
Larry Gatlin’s wife, Janis is in the Home & Family kitchen whipping up some of her famous Cooks King Ranch enchiladas with chicken. The couple talk about meeting in their hometown, Odessa, Texas when they were teenagers and today they are celebrating 47 years of marriage. The two also open up about their spiritual connection and Larry says he felt she was the woman he was going to marry on the day they met. Janis goes on to say her enchiladas are so delicious that she cooks them once a month for Larry.
Fall Farro Salad
Brooke Burke-Charvet is back in the Home & Family kitchen to cook up a seasonal faro salad, that is perfect for fall. She also opens up about her recent time on “Celebrity Apprentice” with Arnold Schwarzenegger. She was on the show with Home & Family’s Matt Iseman, who filmed a special message for her. Aside from cooking, Brooke also stays busy raising her four children with her husband, David.
Mya Zoracki Bakes
The founder of Feed Your Soul Bakery, Mya Zoracki is in the kitchen talking about her bakery’s use of all-natural ingredients and their work with giving back to the community by feeding the homeless. Today, Mya is getting into the holiday spirit by baking santa hat mini-cheesecakes with triple chocolate cookie crust. She recommends getting your butter and eggs at room temperature for a fluffier baked item.
Chef Aarti Sequeira Cooks
The author of “An American Kitchen with an Indian Soul” is in the kitchen whipping up some monsoon black-eyed pea curry with coconut rice and pairs it with a refreshing drink, masala-mint lime fizz. She explains that her dish is all about combining a harmony of spices. In the dish, she uses pepper as a spice instead of seasoning, giving the dish a little extra kick.
