Fried Chicken and Waffles with Homemade Sriracha
Husband and wife Jet and Ali Tila are in the kitchen making the ultimate sweet and salty breakfast with a spicy kick! Today they are preparing fried chicken and waffles with homemade sriracha. To get the perfect fried chicken, marinate it overnight with seasoned salt and buttermilk, for the ultimate flavor. When you are done with blending the sriracha, place it in a mason jar for two days, allowing to ferment. After two days, puree the sriracha and strain it. If you are a serious heat seeker, he suggests you to add Thai peppers to the sriracha. The two also talk about their new cookbook, “101 Epic Dishes.”
DIY Soapsicles
Ali Fedotowsky-Manno is turning soap making into a fun activity with this DIY. These soapsicles are a great way to get the kids excited for taking baths. It is very important to use soap coloring for this DIY and not food coloring because food coloring stains skin and your bathtub. When it comes to scents, she recommends lavender because it is good for your skin and helps calm you before bedtime.

Sharon Feldstein and Patsy Noah sit down with Home & Family to talk about the Your Mom Cares campaign. The longtime friends share a passion for helping children, which is what inspired them to launch Your Mom Cares. This includes bringing forward conversations about mental health issues in young children. They also talk about their relationships with their children. Sharon's son is actor Jonah Hill and Patsy's son is singer Adam Levine.

He shares his gateway moment of finding a garter snake as a child and tracking the snake’s journey through his backyard for two years, which is what drove his fascination with animals. For the casserole, she layers the polenta, sautéed kale and beef that has been soaked in a red wine sauce and serves it up!

102-year-old Rosalee Glass is joined by her daughter, author and filmmaker Lillian to talk about their new film, “Reinventing Rosalee,” currently available on Digital HD and DVD. In the film, Rosalee shares her story of going through a depression in her 80’s and then deciding to change her attitude, taking boxing lessons and enrolling in acting classes. They even bring a trailer from the film, featuring the years leading up to Rosalee’s 100th birthday! The mother and daughter hope that viewers will take away the message that bad times are not forever.

First thing you have to do is scrub the sticker labels off your tea tin with soap and hot water.
