Deidre Hall Interview

Legendary soap opera actress, Deidre Hall sits down with Mark and guest host Debbie Matenopoulos to talk “Days of our Lives.” She jokes that some of the storylines she has been given have been so entertaining, that she has even turned some of them stand-up comedy material, which she has performed at The Improv in Hollywood. She is joined in the interview by lifelong soap fans, Paige Hemmis and Matt Iseman.

S’Mores Blondie Pie

Debbie is in the kitchen whipping up a sweet treat with everybody’s favorite, Hershey chocolate! Kym says the cake is so good, it could be served up as a birthday cake. When you are done, Debbie suggests serving it up with ice cream!

Matt Iseman is joined by American Ninja Warrior, Evan Dollard to talk about his experience on the show. Mark jokes that he wonders if not wearing a shirt played a big part in Evan becoming a champion. Evan recommends doing some serious training if you are thinking of auditioning for the show, this means high-intensity running and continuous interval courses. Now Evan is getting ready to host “Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge,” which airs on Mondays at 10/9c on NBC.

Debbie is introducing Home & Family to all of the upcoming Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movies premiering in June and gives the audience a sneak peek of what to expect.

Jackson Galaxy Interview

The host of the Animal Planet series, “My Cat From Hell,” Jackson Galaxy visits Home & Family to talk about his job as a cat behaviorist, who helps humans and cats. He is joined by “Mackie” the cat who is up for adoption at Best Friends Animal Society. Jackson brings a clip of an upcoming episode, where he worked with a cat named “Pig-Pen” who had some aggression issues.

DIY Bacon Candles

Matt Iseman is in the kitchen making bacon candles. He calls this DIY so simple that anybody can do it. He also points out it makes the whole house smell like bacon. The key is to use unscented candles to not mask out any of the scent of the bacon once you add the bacon grease to the candles.

New E-Cig Warnings

Dr. JJ is back with a new list of E-Cig warnings for smokers out there. She points out that manufacturers must add health warnings to product packages and list the potentially harmful ingredients in their labels. The FDA has banned tobacco products to be sold in vending machines unless in adult-only establishments. Because the tobacco is masked with fun flavors, some people think it is a safer product and Dr. JJ is here to debunk that myth.
