Black and White Cookies
Author of “American Cookie,” Anne Byrne is in the kitchen baking a traditional black and white cookie with homemade glaze. The secret is using cake flour, which yields a more tender cookie. She even describes the cookie being so moist that it can be considered both a cookie and a cake. Just remember to remove the cookies from the oven before they brown.
