NBA superstar Metta World Peace is joined in the kitchen by his daughter, Sade Artest to make the perfect summertime chicken salad. Sade says she learned some cooking from her dad, but her brothers are the ones with the real appetite. Before cooking the chicken, she marinates it in pineapple juice overnight. As Sade continues to prepare her salad, Metta World Peace talks about re-branding himself as a person and has created a foundation, The Panda’s Friend, which is his way to give back to charities, in particular, at-risk youth.

She selected this DIY because it was personal and keeps to the Fourth of July theme.

After sharing their stories, Kym, Orly, Ken and Paige each talk about what made the DIY finalists and their projects stand out for them.
