Ryan Paevey and Scottie Thompson
Actor Ryan Paevey and actress Scottie Thompson visit Home & Family to talk about their new Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Original Movie, “Hope at Christmas,” which premieres Tuesday, November 20th at 9/8c. The two actors also discuss what it was like bonding on the set, which meant going on hikes a few days before shooting began. Afterwards, Ryan tests his strength by balancing a Christmas tree in the palm of his hand.
Bread Stuffing with Sausage, Dried Cherries and Pecans
Co-Host of “America’s Test Kitchen,” Bridget Lancaster is in the kitchen making one of everybody’s favorite Thanksgiving side dishes, bread stuffing. She recommends using toasted sandwich bread for this dish so it does not get too soggy when cooking. For a richer flavor, toast the nuts before adding to the dish.

Cinnamon Star Christmas Cookies
Ryan Paevey joins Debbie in the kitchen to make some delicious holiday cookies with cinnamon and powdered sugar. Debbie adds a little vanilla paste to the recipe to make it richer in flavor. When done, paint a coat of meringue on top of the cookies before putting them in the oven.
