Rescue of the Week

Melissa’s Second Chance Rescue is located in Shawnee, Kansas. It opened in 2019 and has saved over 2,000 animals. The rescue helps strays and animals from the rural Kansas shelters. The organization is volunteer-based and finds animals of all different shapes and sizes the perfect place to find a pet to adopt, like Quinley. She is a special girl that came from a rural puppy shelter. She does have kidney issues, but you would not know it by her sweet, fun-loving puppy energy. She is a forever adoption so any medical costs associated with her care will be covered by Melissa’s Second Chance.
