Paige and Tanya’s DIY Dreamcatchers

Paige and Tanya team up to create this DIY originally used by the Ojibwe Tribe in North America

Materials:

  • 10'' or 14'' Metal ring
  • Yarn
  • Lace Fabric
  • Pilt String
  • Feathers
  • Beads 

Directions:

  1. Wrap outside of metal ring with yard
  2. Cut square of fabric to fill center of ring
  3. Attach fabric with yarn around ring spacing 1'' apart
  4. Cut away excess fabric
  5. Cut extra 1'' strips of fabric
  6. Attach strips of fabric to bottom of ring
  7. Add feathers and beads to strings of yarn
  8. Attach strings with accessories to bottom of ring
