Author Debbie Macomber sits down with Mark and Cristina to talk about her career and the Hallmark Original Series based on her “Cedar Cove” books. Debbie has also appeared in some of the episodes! In real life, Debbie lives in Port Orchard, Washington, where “Cedar Cove” takes place. Debbie also gets inspired by local businesses in her town. The author is also staying busy with her new book, “Silver Linings: A Rose Harbor Novel” coming out August 11th.

Teaching Dogs to Swim

Laura Nativo shows you the easy steps you can take to teach your dog to swim. Contrary to popular belief, not all dogs know how to swim. If needed, Laura recommends you to fence your pool and learn dog CPR.  Remember to also take extra care with older dogs when teaching them how to swim. Always create an exit point at the pool for your dog, as well. Finally, when training your dogs, use a high value award to emphasize when they are doing something right.
