Ken Wingard's Last-minute New Year’s Eve Decor

Materials for Paper Star Bursts:

• Wrapping paper
• Scissors
• Stapler
• Clear tape

Materials for wrapping paper streamer wall:

• Wrapping paper
• Scissors

Directions for wrapping paper star bursts:

1. Unroll a 2 foot length of gift wrap and make 24 1" accordion folds
2. Cut in half
3. Staple a single staple halfway down each accordion folded piece
4. Using scissors, cut each end at an angle and cut out a small diamond on one edge and another small diamond further down on the other end
5. Unfold accordion and join the two halves together using tape
6. Hang

Directions for wrapping paper streamer wall:

1. Unroll enough wrapping paper to reach from floor to ceiling
2. Cut length of paper into thirds
3. Make scissor length slits every inch down both sides of paper
4. Hang from ceiling
