Felt Ball Trivets - Home & Family

DIrections

For the circle shape;
Thread the needle with the heavy duty thread and knot the end
String on as many felt balls as needed for the desired size
You can either create a large circle as the trivet, or create a cluster of the felt balls by securing the end and then going back in and sewing some of them together to hold the shape

For the square shape;
Thread the needle with the heavy duty thread and knot the end
String on as many felt balls as needed for the size of the square's side
Repeat until you have about 5 lines of the same size; they will all be separate
Then, using a threaded needle, attach the lined up felt balls by sewing them in the opposite way; repeat with each line and tie off each one with a double knot

For the cork base trivet;
Cut the cork to the desired size
Attach the felt balls to be cork using glue
If you are making a circle shape, start from the center and work your way out
