Props
- 10 rocks
- Acrylic Paints
- Accessories to make rocks fun
- Wood board
- Paintbrushes
- Wax paper, or newspaper. (something the painted rocks can dry on)
STEP ONE: Make sure the surface of the wood board is clean. Paint one or both sides of the board a bright color within your color scheme or pattern and set aside to dry.
STEP TWO: Divide the 10 rocks into two teams. Paint one team one color scheme and the other team another color scheme. Set aside to dry.
- Please Note: with acrylic paints, you may have to apply a few coats.
- Then accessorize if needed. Adding feathers, googly eyes, yarn, glitter etc...
STEP THREE: Once the board is dry then draw on the actual lines for the game with a black Sharpie pen.
OPTIONAL: To keep this outside all year round you can spray the pieces and the board with a clear or gloss protective coating. This works only with plain painted rocks without accessories. No yarn, fabrics or materials besides painted rocks.
