Materials
- Freshly Cut Tea Leaves
- Steamer and Pot
- Baking Sheet
- Oven
- Airtight, dark and dry container
Directions
1. Place the cut leaves into the steamer for 2 minutes. When they are done they should be an olive green color
2. Stop the “heating” process by putting the leaves directly into cool water
3. Roll each leaf and place them on a baking sheet, spaced apart
4. Place the leaves into the oven at 212-230 degrees for 10 minutes total. Halfway through cooking, carefully turn the leaves over
5. When the leaves are done, they should be crispy
6. Store the leaves in a dark, cool and dry place until you would like some tea! Brew them the same way you would brew any loose leaf tea
